Here are the steps that you have to follow while you want to delete emails from Gmail automatically:
Go to the settings option in your Gmail.
Then go to the “Filters and Blocked Address” tab and then, click on the “Create a new filter” option.
Type older_than:1y ( or older_than:90d, more)
Click on the create filter
Click on delete
