Mind and Body Part I
For many of us, being in the present can be very challenging. We are either caught up in the past or future. In this short video, Mingyur Rinpoche teaches us the importance of being in the present moment, with the mind and body together. He also shares a story that reflects this from his own time in retreat. You can discuss this teaching in the Monthly Teachings Forum under the topic Mind and Body Part I.
Reflection Questions
- What do you find the most challenging when you try to be in the present?
- Has your ability to be less caught up in the past and future improved since you began meditating? How has this affected your life and relationships?
